SheetBlok Sound Isolation Barrier SheetBlok Sound Isolation Barrier is a dense, limp–mass vinyl material that is about 6dB more effective than solid lead at stopping the transmission of sound. It acts as a thin, dense sound barrier layer in walls, ceilings or floors and is most effective when used as one component of a multi–layered construction scheme. SheetBlok helps in decoupling (i.e. floating) floors and walls.

U–Boat Floor Floaters Made of a specially–formulated rubber compound, U–Boat Floor Floaters are our proprietary U–shaped channels used to support framing members and float (isolate and decouple) them from the surrounding structure. With the help of U–Boats, a floated room features greatly improved transmission loss (isolation) and low frequency definition (translated: a tight, floated room will always sound better!).

SubDude The Auralex SubDude(HD) is a 15” x 15” x 2.5” platform wrapped with ozite to fit any room setting. Its purpose is to prevent sound from transmitting through your subwoofer to surrounding surfaces. The SubDude effectively reduces secondary resonance by decoupling your subwoofer from the floor so you hear your sub and not the vibration of the other objects in your listening environment.

HoverDeck Isolation Riser Stages and traditional drum risers sympathetically vibrate (resonate) with the drums and/or PA system. These resonances feed back to the drums and are then picked up by the mics. The Auralex HoverDeck is specifically engineered to reduce coloration from floor resonance by decoupling the drum kit from the structure, resulting in a tighter, more pure sound for both studio and FOH.
